will go from discovery to discovery rich in colors, images, emotions and sensations.
Day 1:ANTANANARIVO
Flight to Antananarivo (TNR).

Day 2: ANTANANARIVO – MANTASOA
Breakfast at Hotel
Mantasoa, whose name means « which is pleasant even when flooded », is located 70 km northeast of
Antananarivo. The three main attractions of this city are the artificial lake of Mantasoa, the industrial city
built by Jean Laborde and his tomb: Soamandrakizay.
An excursion in the village will make you discover the villa of Jean Laborde, converted into a small
museum. Close to the village, Laborde’s tomb, the largest in the region’s cemetery.

Day 3: MANTASOA – ANDASIBE
Breakfast at the hotel.
A vehicle connection allows you to reach andasibe.
A long journey with beautiful landscapes, stop on the road for lunch, arrival at Andasibe transfer to the
hotel. If possible night visit in the national park of Andasibe.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: NATIONAL PARK ANDASIBE
You will begin with a very early morning breakfast. Direction : visit Andasibe-Mantadia National Park.
You will change into your walking shoes for a guided walking tour around the forest to visit the Indri
Lemurs and enjoy the flora and fauna. The particularity of Andasibe is first of all the morning song of the
Indri Indri, the largest of the lemurs: it offers a gentle awakening and arouses curiosity. It is an
unmissable place in the region and deserves a closer look. About eleven species of lemurs live there
alongside varieties of birds such as parrots and falcons. In addition, the flora is exquisitely beautiful
thanks to the presence of majestic orchids.
After this visit on the way to the hotel for a good dinner and a sweet night.

Day 5: ANDASIBE – AMBATONDRAZAKA – ZAHAMENA

On this fifth day, on the way to ambatondrazaka a journey of 187 km you will admire the landscape
The city of Ambatondrazaka is located in the Lake Alaotra region, in the northeast of the island. Small
hills surround a vast rice-growing plain. Lunch break on the road.
We are not going to stay in ambatondrazaka but we are going to do the shopping for our trekking and our
camping for 3 days in zahamena. Direction to the hotel for one night and a good dinner.

Day 6/7/8: TREKKING ZAHAMENA
Zahamena National Park is the least visited National Park where you will see the real wildlife of
Madagascar. Through this site you will able to capture the true beauty of this wonderful biome and
ecosystem. You will learn about the different kinds of animals and factors in the Zahamena National Park,
along with the plants. Zahamena is a beautiful national park and it is full of adventure. It is home to many
unique species of animals, especially lemurs, that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Zahamena in Madagascar is such a beautiful place, and it is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for
an amazing time full of fun!

Day 9: ZAHAMENA – ANDILAMENA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for other adventures, let’s take the national road rn 44 towards rn3a for Andilamena. You will
admire the landscape, the vast rice fields along your journey. Lunch on the way.
Overnight and dinner at the hotel.

Day 10: ANDILAMENA - NP MAROTANDRANO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfert to the national park Marotandrano.
Special Reserve, dense evergreen forest, habitat of Babakoto and Varecia Variegata variageta,
remarkable presence of Dalbergia monticola, syzugium emirnenca, canarium madagascariensis, rheedia
aphanophladia. If possible night visit at this park.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: NP MAROTANDRANO
Breakfast at the hotel.
The Marotandrano Special Reserve is a protected natural area in the north of Madagascar, on the border
of the regions of Sofia and Alaotra Mangoro.
There are twelve species of lemurs, 104 species of birds (including 56 endemic), 19 species of
amphibians and 16 species of reptiles. In addition, 11 species of insectivores and rodents have been
identified in the reserve, 10 of which are endemic.

Day 12: MAROTANDRANO – MANDRITSARA
Early in the morning, we begin by a breakfast and start hiking.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Direction for mandritsara a distance of 42km. Transfer to hotel for lunch , free time arriving at
mandritsara, you can visit the city as a tourist or more locally.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: MANDRITSARA – ANTSOHIHY
Breakfast at Hotel
A new road on this day, direction antsohihy ;
lunch on the way. Long stage where several stops will be necessary to stretch a little. The largest and
longest bridge in Madagascar spans the Sofia River 30 km from Port Bergé. Visit of this city famous for
its chrome mines.

Day 14: ANTSOHIHY – MAHAMASINA
Breakfast at hotel.
Direction: the village of Mahamasina, nestled at the entrance to the Ankarana National Park. The journey
therefore continues on the RN6, the road that leads to the northern tip of the Big Island.A section of track
is a little difficult but the journey offers you a surprising scenery. Arrival at the end of the afternoon,
installation at the hotel.

Day 15: ANKARANA NATIONAL PARK
Beakfast at hotel.
Hike to enter the roof of the famous Tsingy (formation of sharp limestone peaks) which dominate the
superb park. Visit of the caves with crystalline concretions... Free picnic lunch on site and return to the
hotel towards the end of the afternoon.
The discovery of Ankarana National Park requires physical endurance. In the evening, the return to the
gîte will be all the more appreciated.

Day 16: PN ANKARANA – RAMENA
Breakfast at hotel.
Destination the second largest bay in the world where the picturesque fishing village of Ramena is
located, 20km from Diègo Suarez. Once again, you will take the national road 6 (RN6) for a 6-hour drive
to pass through Nosy Lonjo, « le pain de sucre ».
Your tourist guide will tell you the story of the famous « le pain de sucre ‘’ » Sugar Loaf » or « Nosy Lonjo
», symbol of the city of Diégo Suarez, as soon as you see it.

Day 17: MER D’EMERAUDE
Breakfast at hotel.
The day is placed under the sign of relaxation and idleness. It begins with the presentation of the crew for
a canoe trip on the Emerald Sea, a huge lagoon with colors sometimes turquoise blue sometimes
emerald green with heavenly beaches.
Other relaxation activities are on the program: it is indeed possible on the emerald sea to go kite surfing.
When day falls on the beach, it will then be time to find Ramena. You will stay overnight at the same
hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 18: RAMENA – TSINGY ROUGE – DIEGO

It is another variety of tsingy that we invite you to discover on this 8th day of your trip to Madagascar, a
dream island. During your transfer to the Tsingy Rouge private park, you will already have a taste of the
great adventure you are about to experience.
These tsingy prove to be fragile but you will have the opportunity to contemplate them, in particular the
big and the small red tsingy, as well as the Canyon. Their ocher silhouettes rising in front of you majestic
and austere, give the red tsingy the vision of an exceptional landscape, of an unreal world.
Then head to Anivorano where the main attraction is the Sacred Lake populated by crocodiles. Legend
has it that a traveler passing by asked the inhabitants of the village for water, who refused to give it to
him. He then cursed the village which turned into a lake while the inhabitants were reincarnated as
crocodiles
Then return to the city of Diègo Suarez for one night and dinner at the hotel.

Day 19: DIEGO SUAREZ – MONTAGNE D’ AMBRE – DIEGO SUAREZ

In the program : Amber Mountain National Park.
Walk in primary forest to discover waterfalls, lakes, tree ferns, orchids, lemurs, chameleons...
Seven species of lemurs out of the 70 species in Madagascar, rub shoulders there. Five species like the
day and are therefore diurnal and two species prefer the night. Randomly on the walk, you will meet birds
– there are more than 75 species – and reptiles including the smallest chameleon in the world, the
Tuberculous Brookesia.
Then visit the town of Joffreville.
At the end of the afternoon, you will return to Diègo Suarez and you will spend the night in the same
hotel. Dinne at the hotel.

Day 20: ANTANANARIVO By plane

On the program for this day, your transfer to DIEGO SUAREZ airport where you will fly to Antananarivo,
the capital of Madagascar, the main departure point for international flights.
Our guide driver will welcome you at Ivato international airport, and will accompany you to the hotel
where you will be installed.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 21: ANTANANARIVO – BACK HOME
Breakfast at the hotel .
Our accompanying driver supports your transfer to the airport according to the schedule of your flight to
your country of origin. He will stop at the craft market on the road to the airport to allow you to buy
beautiful souvenirs of your trip to the Big Island through small handicrafts that represent the country.
END OF CIRCUIT
Jour 14 : ANTSOHIHY – MAHAMASINA
Petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel.
Direction : le village de Mahamasina, niché à l'entrée du parc national de l'Ankarana. Le périple se poursuit donc sur la RN6, la route qui mène à la pointe nord de la Grande Île. Un tronçon de piste est un peu difficile mais le trajet vous offre un décor surprenant. Arrivée en fin d'après-midi, installation à l'hôtel.

Jour 15 : PARC NATIONAL D'ANKARANA
Petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel.
Randonnée pour pénétrer sur le toit des célèbres Tsingy (formation de pics calcaires acérés) qui dominent le superbe parc. Visite des grottes aux concrétions cristallines… Déjeuner pique-nique libre sur place et retour à l'hôtel en fin d'après-midi.
La découverte du Parc National de l’Ankarana demande de l’endurance physique. Le soir, le retour au gîte sera d'autant plus apprécié.
Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.
Jour 16 : PN ANKARANA – RAMENA
Petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel.
Destination la deuxième plus grande baie du monde où se situe le pittoresque village de pêcheurs de Ramena, à 20km de Diègo Suarez. Encore une fois, vous emprunterez la route nationale 6 (RN6) pendant 6 heures de route pour passer par Nosy Lonjo, « le pain de sucre ».
Votre guide touristique vous racontera l'histoire du fameux « le pain de sucre » ou « Nosy Lonjo », symbole de la ville de Diégo Suarez, dès que vous l'apercevrez.
Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.
Jour 17 : MER D'EMERAUDE
Petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel.
La journée est placée sous le signe de la détente et du farniente. Cela commence par la présentation de l'équipage pour une balade en canoë sur la Mer d'Émeraude, un immense lagon aux couleurs tantôt bleu turquoise tantôt vert émeraude aux plages paradisiaques.
D'autres activités de détente sont au programme : il est en effet possible sur la mer émeraude de faire du kite surf.
Lorsque le jour tombera sur la plage, il sera alors temps de retrouver Ramena. Vous passerez la nuit dans le même hôtel. Dîner à l'hôtel.
Jour 18 : RAMENA – TSINGY ROUGE – DIEGO
Petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel
C'est une autre variété de tsingy que nous vous proposons de découvrir en ce 8ème jour de votre voyage à Madagascar, une île de rêve. Lors de votre transfert vers le parc privé des Tsingy Rouge, vous aurez déjà un avant-goût de la grande aventure que vous vous apprêtez à vivre.
Ces tsingy s'avèrent fragiles mais vous aurez l'occasion de les contempler, notamment les grands et les petits tsingy rouges, ainsi que le Canyon. Leurs silhouettes ocres se dressant devant vous majestueuses et austères, donnent aux tsingy rouges la vision d'un paysage exceptionnel, d'un monde irréel.
Direction ensuite Anivorano où l'attraction principale est le Lac Sacré peuplé de crocodiles. La légende raconte qu'un voyageur de passage demandait de l'eau aux habitants du village, qui refusèrent de la lui donner. Il maudit alors le village qui se transforma en lac tandis que les habitants se réincarnaient en crocodiles.
Retour ensuite vers la ville de Diego Suarez pour une nuit et dîner à l'hôtel.
Jour 19 : DIEGO SUAREZ – MONTAGNE D’AMBRE – DIEGO SUAREZ
Petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel
Au programme : Parc National de la Montagne d'Amber.
Promenez-vous en forêt primaire à la découverte de cascades, lacs, fougères arborescentes, orchidées, lémuriens, caméléons…
Sept espèces de lémuriens sur les 70 espèces que compte Madagascar, s'y côtoient. Cinq espèces aiment le jour et sont donc diurnes et deux espèces préfèrent la nuit. Au hasard de la balade, vous rencontrerez des oiseaux – il en existe plus de 75 espèces – et des reptiles dont le plus petit caméléon du monde, le Brookesia tuberculeux.
Visitez ensuite la ville de Joffreville.
En fin d'après-midi, vous retournerez à Diègo Suarez et vous passerez la nuit dans le même hôtel. Dîner à l'hôtel.
Jour 20 : ANTANANARIVO En avion

Au programme de cette journée, votre transfert à l'aéroport DIEGO SUAREZ où vous vous envolerez pour Antananarivo, la capitale de Madagascar, principal point de départ des vols internationaux.
Notre chauffeur guide vous accueillera à l'aéroport international d'Ivato, et vous accompagnera jusqu'à l'hôtel où vous serez installé.
Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.
Jour 21 : ANTANANARIVO – RETOUR À LA MAISON
Petit déjeuner à l'hôtel.
Notre chauffeur accompagnateur prend en charge votre transfert jusqu'à l'aéroport selon l'horaire de votre vol vers votre pays d'origine. Il s'arrêtera au marché artisanal sur la route de l'aéroport pour vous permettre d'acheter de beaux souvenirs de votre voyage dans la Grande Île à travers des petits objets artisanaux qui représentent le pays.
